As VFX Supervisor for The Tick out of LA I work with both our New York, and BC office to produce a myriad of vfx work for the show. We have created a fully digital Tick used extensively throughout the episodes, as well as digital Arthur, digital Overkill, a CG Bus, a Talking Dog, and Danger Boat to name a few.
I was one of 2 VFX Supervisors at FuseFX on American Gods I worked as the Lead Environment Artist for the Sweeney Vision section of the project. We were provided a number of elements for dead soldiers in various positions from non conforming cameras and were tasked with making a creative and unified sequence with this footage. I started with a number of rough concept sketches that I eventually handed off to our concept painter and the cg supervisor on the show for an awesome layout. We drew influence from our local Vasquez Rocks for the stone formations in the piece and I sculpted a number of hero tree variations which are another prominent structure in the environment.
In addition to this sequence we also developed a CG Rabbit for use in a number of shots where a rabbit horde was expected to gather.
I CG Supervised for season 4 at FuseFX working with an awesome internal team and closely with Marvel's internal VFX Supervisor. Contributing in the creation of Ghost Rider was massively rewarding and enjoyable as well as creating the myriad of other VFX shots we were tasked to produce.
